The idea of creating MIIC-BF (MIIC Burkina Faso) was born a few years ago after meeting a member of MIIC-Togo, Mr. Cyrille N’kawula. Indeed, after talking with Cyrille about ICMICA-Pax Romana. He instilled the interest and the will to Martine Badoré YOUGBARE, and the latter was willing to get involved and talk to others around me about it.
Martine Badoré YOUGBARE met Father Anatole TIENDREBEOGO, chaplain of social groups. Then, he talked to friends from his parish, and also to other members. To date, MIIC-BF has a small group of leaders working on the effective implementation of the Movement. know more about MIIC Burkina Faso
PAX ROMANA ICMICA GHANA
Pax Romana ICMICA was carved out of the International Movement of Catholic Students (IMCS- Pax Romana) after 1949 when students who have completed University saw the need to continue the family tree of IMCS. Pax Romana ICMICA-Ghana has a long standing history of the movement existence in Africa. The first ever African Seminar was held in 1957 in Ghana. Know more about ICMICA Ghana
MOUVEMENT DES INTELLECTUELS CATHOLIQUES DE TOGO
MIIC PAX ROMANA – TOGO was created in 2005 on the initiative of certain former members of the student branch of PAX ROMANA at the University of Lomé. He obtained canonical recognition from the Metropolitan Archbishop of Lomé, Mgr Denis AMUZU-DZAKPAH. In the diocesan organization chart of Catholic associations, MIIC PAX ROMANA -TOGO is a Diocesan Office linked to the Diocesan Direction of Works with around forty other associations which have DDOL as chaplain. At its beginnings, the movement was composed and animated by a dozen loyal members who will be joined progressively by other members co-opted by them.
Since its creation and to this day, the movement maintains excellent relations with the local clergy and enjoys a good rating with other lay associations operating under the supervision of the DDOL. Know more about MIIC Togo

The Movement affiliated with Pax Romana is the Mouvement Catholique des Cadres et Personnalités Politiques (MCCPP) created in 2002 with the authorization of the Episcopal Conference of Benin. They have implemented reforms that have allowed the installation of the MCCPP in all the dioceses of Benin.
